Ethan Maxwell
Zoldan, together
with his parents,
Martin and Elise
(Gendloff) Zoldan,
celebrated his
bar mitzvah on
Saturday, Aug. 30,
at Congregation
Shaarey Zedek West
Bloomfield, B'nai Israel Center. He
is the brother of Dayna. Also shar-
ing this special day were grandfather
Aron Zoldan, grandmother Evelyn
Gendoff and great-grandmother Rose
Weinstein. He is also the grandson of
the late Frances Zoldan and the late
Glenn Gendloff.
Ethan is a student at Warner Middle
School in Farmington Hills. His most

meaningful mitzvah project was help-
ing to serve meals and watch the chil-
dren who attended the "Souper Bowl"
program at Congregation Shaarey
Zedek. This was one of many activities
he participated in order to earn the
Ner Tamid emblem through the Jewish
Boy Scout program.

hirley and Joe Broder of
Birmingham will celebrate
their 60th wedding anniver-
sary with family and friends during
the month of September. They were
married in Detroit on Sept. 12, 1948.
They are admired and loved by their
children, Elaine Davidson, Judy and
Mark Goldsmith and Suzi and Avie
Benaderet, and are the proud grand-
parents of Michael Hootner, Jared
and Stephanie Rosenbaum, Molly
Goldsmith, and Michele, Solly, Orly,
Daniel and Joseph Benaderet.
