otorhinolaryngology

Auditory Research Laboratory and
have secondary appointments in
neuroscience, psychology and bioen-
gineering.

Financial Companies in Southfield.

Several doctors of

Beaumont Hospital
recently received
Outstanding
Doctors awards.
Among them are
Dr. David H. Forst
of Birmingham,
vice-chief of the
Cardiovascular
Disease division for
Beaumont Hospitals,
accepted the
Outstanding Medical
Staff Leadership
Award. He has been
serving the medical
Franklin
staff since 1982.
Dr. Barry A. Franklin of
Bloomfield Hills, director of
Cardiac Rehabilitation and Exercise
Laboratories, received the Outstanding
Medical Research Award. He has been
on the Beaumont staff since 1985.
The Center for Leadership
Initiatives (CLI) and the Charles
and Lynn Schusterman Family
Foundation have awarded 10 Insight
Fellowships, a two-year program to
train in Jewish communal service.

Amy Rothberger
grew up in
Farmington Hills

George Washington

Washington, D.C.
She graduated with

Semitic languages and cultures. Amy
studied Hebrew, Arabic, and interdis-
ciplinary Middle Eastern studies both
at GW and at the University of Haifa,
where she worked at a shelter for bat-
tered women and children.
Adam Soclof
was raised in
Ann Arbor
and graduated

of Michigan
with a B.A. in
Judaic studies.
As a found-
ing fellow of the PresenTense
Institute in Jerusalem, Adam created
HyperSemitic, a Jewish edu-tainment
company that uses music, film and
new media to teach about ritual and
holidays. He produced Haman Song, a
video for Purim starring Bible rapper
Matt Bar.
Robin Sherr Davids, a former West
Bloomfield resident of Los Angeles,
Calif., was recently made vice presi-
dent of national publicity for 20th
Century Fox. She is the daughter
of Ron and Linda Sherr of West
Bloomfield.
