Berkley-based Yad Ezra sponsored its annual citywide greeting card
contest for children ages 5-15. Judges Gordie Abel, Dennie Abels, Ricki
Elbinger and Beverly Finkel chose winning entries in each age category.
Winning drawings were created by Rachel Lybeck, 6, of West
Bloomfield; Hodaya Shaulou,14, visiting from Israel; Sami Chaben, 8, of
West Bloomfield; and Julia McCaffrey,12, of Walled Lake.
The cards have been reprinted and are available for purchase in
assorted packages of 12 cards for $50. The colorful designs depict vari-
ous symbols of the holiday.
