He received his Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Minnesota in 1952 before moving to Detroit with his wife, Betty. He began working at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Allen Park, where he stayed for 28 years until his retirement in 1980. During his career with the VA, Dr. Malos served veterans of the Spanish- American War, World War I and II, the Korean and Vietnam wars. He even interviewed a Civil War veteran dur- ing his internship. One of his proudest
