Friedman 100th

tanley Friedman of Southfield
and St. Petersburg, Fla., turned
100 years old on July 23. On July
26, more than 75 family members from
Alaska to New York will join him and his
wife, Miriam Levin Friedman, for a grand
celebration at the St. Petersburg Yacht Club.
That date is also their 66th anniversary. The
night before, on July 25, he will walk daugh-
ter Peggy down the aisle at her wedding in
the sculpture garden of the St. Petersburg
Museum of Fine Arts.

their son Todd to Erin Batory, daughter of
Ron and Barbara Batory of Moorestown,
N.J. Todd is the grandson of Hilde Dreifus
of Huntington Woods. Todd and Erin were
classmates at Echo Park Pre-School and
renewed their friendship two years ago.
Erin received her B.A. in environmen-
tal science from the University of Iowa in
Iowa City and an M.A. in education from
National-Louis University in Chicago. She
teaches science in Chicago.
Todd earned his B.S. in communications
from Eastern Michigan University. He is in steel sales in the Chicago area.
An October wedding is planned in Chicago.

School of Law. He previously worked in real
estate finance and development in New York,
after graduating with a B.A. from University
of Michigan's Business School.
Karen is finishing her master's degree
in speech-language pathology at New York
University. She graduated from Boston
University with a B.A. in psychology and
rehabilitation counseling.
An August wedding is planned in Lawrence, N.Y.
