MARVIN RAYMOND ALLEN, 60,
of Farmington Hills, died June 5, 2008.
He is survived by a brother and
sister-in-law, Joseph and Aileen Allen
of Altamonte Springs, Fla.; sisters
and brothers-in-law, Ann and Arthur
Solomon of West Bloomfield, Stella and
Jerry Morof of Bloomfield Hills; aunt,
Shirley Adels; many nieces, nephews,
great-nieces and great-nephews.
Mr. Allen was the loving son of the
late Ida and the late Louis Allen; cher-
ished brother of the late Ted Allen and
the late Jack Allen.
Interment at Adat Shalom Memorial
Park Cemetery. Contributions may
be made to a charity of one's choice.
Arrangements by Ira Kaufman Chapel.

NORMA BEDNOWITZ, 83, of
Nashville, Tenn., formerly of Southfield
died May 22, 2008.
She is survived by her loving chil-
dren, Lynne Lazarski of Nashville, Alan
and Sandra Bednowitz of Melrose,
Mass., David and Nancy Bednowitz
of Nashville; devoted grandchildren,
Sarah, Dana, Jason and Adam; beloved
brother and sister-in-law, Howard and
Jacqueline Tepper of Nashville.
Private funeral services were held
in Boynton Beach, Fla. Contributions
may be made to the American Lung
Association.

SEYMOUR MORRIS CANTOR,
86, of West Bloomfield, died June 6,
2008. A hospital administrator, Mr.
Cantor was a veteran of World War II
and he was with the Army Engineering
Corps.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Lazar
Cantor of West Bloomfield; daughter
and son-in-law, Kathy Cantor Cohn
and Gary Cohn of Huntington Woods;
son and daughter-in-law, Glenn and
Michelle Cantor of Huntington Woods;
grandchildren, Lauren, Emily, Adam
and Carolyn Cohn, Rachel, Henry and
Sarah Cantor; sisters-in-law and broth-
ers-in-law, Evelyn Cantor, Dr. Morton
and Hecky Lazar, Howard and Gloria
Lazar, Dorothy and Sam Essick.
Mr. Cantor was the beloved brother
and brother-in-law of the late Harold
Cantor, the late Esther and the late
Morris Shillman, the late Shirley and the
late Joseph Borison, the late Bunny Lazar,
the late Richard and the late Jean Lazar.
Interment at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be made
to Temple Israel, 5725 Walnut Lake
Road, West Bloomfield, MI 48323, www.
temple-israel.org. Arrangements by Ira
Kaufman Chapel.
