Jazmyn Micayla
Roble will celebrate
her bat mitzvah at
Temple Israel in West
Bloomfield, Friday,
June 13, as she leads
the congregation
in prayer. She is the
Roble
daughter of Janice and
Rick Roble and the sis-
ter of Shayna and Micah. Sharing in the
simchah will be her proud grandpar-
ents Dr. Gilbert and Ruth Plotnik and
Barbara Klink, and great-grandmother
Dorothy Richardson.
Jazmyn is a student at Geisler Middle
School in Novi. Among her many mitz-
vah projects, working with children at
Friendship Circle in West Bloomfield is
the one she felt most meaningful.

Saturday, June 14, as
she leads the con-
gregation in prayer.

She is the daughter
of Lisa and Dr. Mark
Rosenberg and the sister of Alexandra.
Her excited grandparents are Ina and
Norman Rosenberg and Judy Roth. She
is also the grandchild of the late Sanford
Roth.
Ryan is a student at West Hills Middle
School in Bloomfield Hills. Volunteering
to work with children at Friendship
Circle in West Bloomfield was the mitz-
vah project she found most meaningful.

late Merle Rosin, the late Stuart Miller
and the late Elaine Miller.
Stephanie attends Derby Middle
School in Birmingham. She has enjoyed
helping others participating in several
mitzvah projects including working at
HAVEN, Pontiac.

Allison Mara Sherbel and Brandon
Marc Sherbel will share the bimah
at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield,
Saturday, June 14, during Havdalah
services as they celebrate their b'nai

mitzvah. They are the
children of Lisa and
Dr. Steven Sherbel
and the siblings of
Jason. Sharing in the

Henry Shifinan (Ari
Hershal) became a
bar mitzvah on Friday,
May 30, at Temple
Shir Shalom in West
Bloomfield. He is
the son of Dina and
Jeffrey and younger
Shifman
brother of Marlee.
Grandparents are
Phyllis and Gibby Schwartz, Joan and
the late Alvin Shifman.
Henry is a student at Warner Middle
School in Farmington Hills. His mitzvah
project was volunteering at the Humane
Society, which he plans to continue.

Carly Anne Simko,
daughter of Randi
Simko and Sam
Simko, will celebrate
her bat mitzvah,
Saturday, June 14, at
Temple Israel in West
Bloomfield. She is the
Simko
sister of Alyssa Simko
and Ian Bensman. Her
proud grandmother is Barrie Chaffkin.
She is also the grandchild of the late
Harvey Chaffkin and the late Charlotte
and the late Leo Simko. Sharing in the
simchah will be her proud great-grand-
mother Rose Chaffkin.
Carly is a student at Hillel Day
School of Metropolitan Detroit in
Farmington Hills. Her most meaning-
ful mitzvah project is volunteering on a
regular basis at Fleischman Residence-
Blumberg Plaza, West Bloomfield.
