He Casman is the son of Karen and Craig Casman and brother of Sarah. Proud and lov- ing grandparents are Bill and Gerrie Zucker and Paul and June Casman, all of West Bloomfield. Ryan is a student at Kinawa Middle school in Okemos. Ryan volunteered at the Greater Lansing Food Bank as his mitzvah project. Mara Lee Chaben, daughter of Liz and Paul Chaben and sis- ter of Carly, will read from the Torah as she becomes a bat mitz- vah on Friday, June 13, at Temple Israel Chaben in West Bloomfield. Her proud grand- parents are Lenore Risin and Dr. Warren Cowen, Joannie and Marvin Chaben and Candice and Joel Zwick. She is also the grandchild of the late Marilyn Chaben, the late Dr. Benjamin N. Sherbin and the late Bertram Risin. Her very proud great-grandmother is Estelle Moggle. Mara attends Dunckel Middle School in Farmington Hills. Mara enjoyed and learned about others while doing her most meaningful mitzvah proj- ect at the Friendship Circle in West Bloomfield. Alexandra Nicole Kelter will be called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah on Saturday, June 14, at Temple Emanu-El in Oak Park. Lexi is the daughter of Patty and Kelter Ted Kelter and the sister of Robert Kelter. Sharing in the celebration are her proud grandparents Janet Gallin Kelter and Theodore Keller II, Bonnie and Tony Misuraca and Edwin Nelson. Lexi is a student at East Hills Middle School in Bloomfield Hills. Her most meaningful mitzvah project was volun- teering at the Michigan Animal Rescue League, Pontiac. Evan Daniel Ketai, son of Sherri and Jimmy Ketai and brother of Josh and Adam, will be called to the Torah as a bar mitzvah on Saturday, June 14, Ketai at Congregation Shaarey Zedek Southfield. Sharing in the simchah will be his grandparents, Myrna Ketai, Dorathy and Don Ketai, Sue and Dennis Kay, and great-grandparents Eve and Sam Solomon. Evan attends Berkshire Middle School. Among his many mitzvah projects, Evan felt collecting games and books for some of the Ethiopian chil- dren he met in Israel in order for them to learn English in a fun way was the most meaningful. Daniel Aaron Levine, son of Ronna and Douglas Levine, will celebrate his bar mitzvah as he reads from the Torah on Saturday, June 14, at Congregation Shaarey Zedek Southfield. Proud to be sharing in his simchah will be his sister Alysa and grandparents Barbara Rubinstein, Lois Levine and David and Barbara Rubinstein. Daniel is also the grandson of the late Seymour Levine. Daniel attends Bloomfield Hills Middle School. His most memorable mitzvah project was volunteering at Yad Ezra kosher pantry in Berkley. Andrew Stephen Moss will lead the congregation at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield, Saturday, June 14, as he is called to read from the Torah on M o s s the occasion of his bar mitzvah. He is the son of Wendy and Jeffrey Moss and the brother of Joshua and Justin. His proud grandparents are Sandra and Ronald Moss and Thelma and Neil Brown. He is also the grandson of the late Stanley A. Stalburg. Andrew attends Hillel Day School of Metropolitan Detroit in Farmington Hills.
