BY ROBIN SCHWARTZ I PHOTOGRAPHY BY ARMANDO RIOS Lauren Weisberger, 30, of Manhattan never dreamed she'd be spilling juicy secrets about working in the over-the-top fashion industry But her novel The Devil Wears Prada, based on her experiences working at Vogue magazine as assis- tant to the legendary Anna Wintour, became a best seller and the story became a film, starring Meryl Steep and Anne Hathaway. "It all happened very quickly; I had no idea what I was getting myself into," Weisberger, a newlywed, told 650 women May 6 at Congregation Shaarey Zedek in Southfield. She flew in the day after her honeymoon to be the featured speaker at Lois Linden Nelson Woman's World 2008, sponsored by the synagogue's Sisterhood.
