West Bloomfield
and Coconut
Creek, Fla., died
May 20, 2008.
Harold was
born in Winnipeg,
Orloff
Manitoba,
Canada. He
graduated from the University of
Manitoba and McGill University
in Montreal, renown for his con-
tributions to organic chemistry.
He is written up in the Oxford
University's 2000 most influential
scientists of the 20th century and
in both the American and the
Canadian Who's Who of Science.
He is survived by his loving wife
of 67 years, Leah; son, Colin Orloff
of West Bloomfield; daughters,
Deborah Orloff of Farmington
Hills, Nadyne Orloff (Partner James
Polisher) of Boulder, Colo.; also
survived by many other loving
family members and friends.
Harold was the dear son of the
late Morris and Manya Orloff and
brother of the late Irving Orloff and
Gertrude Orloff.
Interment was held at Adat
Shalom Memorial Park in Livonia.
Contributions can be made to the
Michigan Parkinson Foundation
or to a charity of one's choice.
