as a bat mitzvah
Saturday, May 24,
at Congregation
Shaarey Zedek
Southfield. She
Sternberg
is the daughter of
Marcy and Douglas
Sternberg and sister of Ari and Daniel.
Sharing in this simchah will be proud
grandparents Stephen and Helene Spitz
and Robert and Judee Sternberg. She is
also the great-granddaughter of Mary
Niskar, who is especially excited to
share this day with her.
Carly is a seventh-grade student
at Hillel Day School of Metropolitan
Detroit in Farmington Hills. Her most
meaningful ongoing mitzvah project
is volunteering at the Brown Center
in West Bloomfield and meeting with
elderly people that visit daily; she also
donated art supplies to the center.

celebrate her bat mitz-
vah Friday, May 23, at
Temple Israel in West
Bloomfield. She is
the daughter of Irina
Sverdlov
and Yefim Sverdlov
and the sister of Olga.
Her proud grandparents are Sima and
Mikhail Kuperman. She is also the
