oshua Michael Schare and Tani Dee
Davenport are delighted to announce
their engagement.
Joshua is the son of Barbara Schare of
Commerce and Jerry Schare of Southfield.
Tani is the daughter of Helen Davenport
of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Terry
Davenport of Santa Fe, N.M.
Joshua received his bachelor's degree from
Kalamazoo College and his master's/Ph.D.
in electrical and computer engineering from
Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburgh. He is a prin-
ciple member of technical staff at Sandia
Laboratories in Albuquerque, N.M.
Tani received her associate degree in nursing from Excelsior College in
Albany, N.Y., and is an intensive care unit registered nurse at the University of
New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque.
A June wedding is planned.

Marc received his bachelor's degree from
Michigan State University in East Lansing
and his juris doctor from the University of
Detroit Mercy. He is president and second-
generation owner of Contract Wallcoverings Inc.

ack "Jake" and Betty Goldberg,
formerly of Southfield of Margate,
Fla., celebrated their 60th wedding
anniversary in January. Their daughter and
son-in-law, Rhonda and Alan Barnett, and
son, Denny Goldberg, surprised them with
dinners and evenings at the theater. Friends
threw then a party at La Luna Restaurant in
Boca Raton, Fla.
