DR. BERNHARD PEPPER, 89, of

Bloomfield Hills, died May 1, 2008. He
was a dentist in Inkster and previously
had a practice on Jefferson in down-
town Detroit. He was also a major in
the Army during World War II.
Dr. Pepper is survived by his wife,
Judith Pepper; sons and daughters-
in-law, Larry and Pamela Pepper of
Bloomfield Hills, Randolph Pepper and
Dr. Laurie Jayne Toomajanian of West
Bloomfield; grandchildren, Jonathon,
Dr. Matthew and Meredith Pepper.
Interment at Beth El Memorial

HARRIET ROGIN, 85, of Bloomfield

Twp., died April 29, 2008.
She is survived by son and daugh-
ter-in-law, Steven and Cory Rogin of
Scottsdale, Ariz.; sister, Fredell Fisher
of Bloomfield Twp.; grandchildren,
Jonathan (Stephanie) Rogin, Jonah
Rogin and Leah (Michael) Riper;
great-granddaughter, Rose; many
loving nieces, nephews, other family
members and friends.
Mrs. Rogin was the beloved wife of
the late Sidney M. Rogin; mother of
the late Andy Rogin and the late Glenn
Rogin; sister of the late Hilda Plucer
and the late Margaret Berger.
Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.

ROSENTHAL, 87,

of West Bloomfield,
died April 28, 2008.
A homemaker, Mrs.
Rosenthal also
became a kosher
cook for Alpha
Rosenthal
Epsilon PI Fraternity
c. 1942
for four years. She
was an active volun-
teer and made cancer pads for March
of Dimes. She was also a member of
Hadassah and Deborah Service, an
avid crossword and card player and
was a valued member of the bingo
group at West Bloomfield Nursing
Center.
Mrs. Rosenthal is survived by

her daughter and son-in-law, Celia
and Maurice Schrieber of West
Bloomfield; son and daughter-in-law,
Mayer and Karen Rosenthal of Texas;
grandchildren, Rebecca Schreiber,
Miriam Schreiber, Sarah Schreiber,
Matthew Rosenthal, Carlie Rosenthal,
Stephen and Susan Rosenthal,
Carolyn and Vince Mascarin and
Joanne and Jim Baker; great-grand-
children, Vincent and Bradley
Mascarin; also survived by Nate
Youmans and the caring staff at West
Bloomfield Nursing Center.
She was the beloved wife of the late
Morris Rosenthal; the dear mother of
the late Lois Rosenthal; the cherished
sister of the late Morton Bernstein, the
late Charles Burns, the late Gertrude
Klein.
