Donor Day on
Wednesday, May
14, in Farmington Hills.
Solomon is internationally rec-
ognized for her photography. She
will present "Pictures of Hope a
photography project which she
created to help recently homeless
children discover their inner hopes
and dreams for a better life. She
will discuss her experiences as a
celebrity photographer.
Boutique shopping will run from
9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The speaker
begins at 11:30 a.m.; lunch will
follow.
Donor Day is the sisterhood's
major fundraising project for
the year. Proceeds help fund the
synagogue's Housing the Homeless
Dinner, Adat Shalom Synagogue
programming, summer programs,
Kiddush, educational programs and
more.
Sisterhood president is Cindy
Nagel of Farmington Hills. The
event will welcome Ruth Bergman,
wife of incoming Rabbi Aaron
Bergman, into the Adat Shalom
Sisterhood family.
Chairing Donor Day are Shannon
Dickstein and Rena Tepman of
West Bloomfield and Lisa Grodman
of Commerce Township.
The community is invited. There
is a $40 per-person minimum
donation to attend the event. For

Pianists Entertain
Pianists Yuki and Tomoko Mack
will be the guest artists at the
Tuesday, May 20, luncheon of the
Ambassadors of Temple Beth El in
Bloomfield Township.
They will entertain Beth El
seniors and their guests at a
noon luncheon in the Temple's
Handleman Hall. Cost of the after-
noon is $10 for Ambassadors mem-
bers and $12 for guests.
