will be called to the
Torah as a bar mitz-
vah Saturday, May
3, at Congregation
Shaarey Zedek in
Meyer
East Lansing. Proud
siblings are Seth and
Brooke Meyer. Sharing this special day
will be great-grandmother Eva Weiner,
grandmother Edythe Meyer and
grandfather Jerry Weisberg. Cameron
is also celebrating this day in heartfelt
memory of grandmother Rosalind
Weisberg and grandfather Sanford
Meyer.
Cameron is a seventh-grader at
Kinawa Middle School in Okemos. His
mitzvah project involved raising funds
to help support spinal injury research
in honor of his brother Seth; Shoot
for the Cure is a hockey-focused cam-
paign of the American and Canadian
spinal research communities.

Adam Nathan
Phillips will cele-
brate his bar mitzvah

Torah Friday, May 2,
at Temple Israel in
West Bloomfield. His
parents are Julie and
Phillips
Mitchell Phillips and
his sister is Rachel.
Sharing in the simchah will be his
proud grandparents Donna and Will
Phillips and Sylvia and Leonard Rouff.
Adam attends Geisler Middle School
in Walled Lake. He felt it was very
meaningful, as a mitzvah project, to
collect blankets for VetSelect in Novi
and the Leader Dogs for the Blind in
Rochester.

Randolph, will be

as a bat mitzvah
Saturday, May 3,

Southfield. She is
Randolph
the daughter of Abby
and Eric Randolph
and sister of Josh and Halle. Sharing in
this simchah will be proud grandpar-
ents Leah and Howard Levinsky and
Janet Randolph. She is also the grand-
daughter of the late Charles Randolph.
Jessica is a student at Berkshire
Middle School in Beverly Hills. Her
most meaningful ongoing mitzvah
project is working at a summer camp
through Birmingham Schools, assist-
ing autistic children.

Alexander Blake

ebrate his bar mitz-
vah on Saturday,
May 3, at Beth
Emet Synagogue
in Evanston, Ill.
He is the son of
Rocklin
former Detroiter
Andy and Leigh
Rocklin of Wilmette, Ill., and the big
brother of sister Olivia. Participating
in the celebration will be Alex's grand-
parents Sharon and Shel Rocklin of
Farmington Hills and Gayle and Elliot
Schlang of Chagrin Falls, Ohio.
Alex is a seventh-grader at Wilmette
Jr. High. His mitzvah projects included
helping to stock and organize food for
a shelter that helps homeless people
get back on the road to self-sufficiency.
