baron and David Horowitz of West
Bloomfield are thrilled to announce
the engagement of their son Dr.
Todd Horowitz to Dr. Nicole Overbey, daugh-
ter of Irene and Tom Lombard of Fox Lake,
Ill., and Sidney and Barbara Overbey of
Barrington Hills, Ill.
Todd and Nicole received their bachelor's
degrees from Michigan State University in
East Lansing and Mount Holyoke College in
South Hadley, Mass., respectively. They both
received their doctor of veterinary medicine
degrees from the University of Illinois in
Urbana-Champaign.
They both work in Los Angeles: Todd at the Animal Surgical and Emergency
Center and Nicole at California Animal Hospital.
A June wedding in Chicago is planned.

Veronika Maierhofer.
Jodi and Simon live in San Diego. Jodi
received her bachelor of fine arts from the
University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and
received her teaching degree from Eastern
Michigan University in Ypsilanti. She is the
event coordinator for Hands on Planning in
San Diego.

The couple will be married in Maui, Hawaii, in May.

Bloomfield and Boynton Beach,
Fla., celebrated 50 years of mar-
riage on March 9. Congratulations and best
wishes were given at their grandson Bryan
Brown's bar mitzvah on that day. Helping
them celebrate were their loving children,
Martin, Mike, Steven, Julie, Rodney and
Vicki, and dear grandchildren, Bryan,
Andrew, Jason, Donovan and Camryn
Brown, Joshua, Samantha and Brittany
Murray, and numerous other relatives and
friends. Their children and grandchildren
presented them with a plaque on the Wall of
Life at Adat Shalom Synagogue in Farmington Hills.
