Hills and Dr. Bill and Hari Wickner
of White River Junction, Vt., are
thrilled to announce the engagement of
their children Dr. Aric David Parnes and Dr.
Paige Gosling Wickner. Aric is also the son
of the late Arthur Parnes.
Aric graduated from U-M, went to Trinity
Medical School in Dublin, Ireland, did his
residency at Dartmouth in New Hampshire
and is finishing his fellowship in hematol-
ogy-oncology at Yale in Connecticut and
Harvard (Dana-Farber) in Massachusetts.
Paige graduated from Yale, went to
Dartmouth Medical School, did her residency at Yale and is finishing her fellow-
ship in allergy-immunology at Yale.
The wedding will be in July in Tuscany, Italy.

Dana earned her bachelor's degree in
Spanish literature from the University of
Florida and is a middle school Spanish
teacher.
Michael graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in finance and
is a commercial lender for Wachovia.
The couple reside in Naples. A May wedding is planned in Parkland, Fla.

Shields of West Bloomfield cel-
ebrated their anniversary with a
party thrown by their children. They were
married at Temple Beth El in Detroit on
April 8,1948, and have three married chil-
dren, Tony Shields and Fayth Yoshimura
of Bloomfield Hills, Lee Shields and Lilli
Church of Seattle and Lucy Shields Henney
and Ray Henney of West Bloomfield.
Richard and Floraine have seven grandchil-
dren, Ryan and Lauren Shields, Eli Hennon
and Maya Shields and Wade, Bryce and
Rheanna Henney.
