Seder in Sderot

On April 19, as Jews around the world gather to celebrate the
Passover Seder and our redemption from Egypt, Jews in
Sderot and the western Negev will listen to the words of the
Haggada with one ear and wait for the "Tzeva Adom" (color
red) alert with the other.

However, while it is traditional to recline while eating these
ceremonial foods, they will literally be sitting on the edges of their
seats, helmets and flak jackets at the ready. Because when the
"Tzeva Adorn" alert sounds they will be running out the door to the
MDA ambulances, speeding to the scene of the attack.

Barrage after barrage of Qassam rockets are exploding on Israeli
soil, causing serious injuries, shock, property damage and fear.

This year on Pesach, think of the brave Magen David Adorn
personnel who are on alert in Sderot, Shaar HaNegev, Ashkelon and
throughout the country -- Israel's medical emergency first
responders.

Magen David Adorn personnel in Sderot, Ashkelon and the western
Negev will also eat matza, marror and haroset and celebrate the Seder.
