Young adults celebrate Purim.

The Persian royalty of Queen Esther's day would have been right
at home among tigers. So, it's fitting that more than 200 young
adults gathered at Detroit's Tiger Club at Comerica Park March
15 for Club Shushan: Purim at the Park, an upscale party to cel-
ebrate the festive holiday.
"What you're supposed to do on Purim is get together, cel-
ebrate and have fun — and that's exactly what we did!" said
Tracie Fienman, Temple Israel's program director. The event,
sponsored jointly by the West Bloomfield temple's Imagine group,
the young adults of Congregation Shaarey Zedek of Oakland
County and Platinum, featured a live band, fortunetellers, ballpark
food, cocktails and Purim staples like hamantashen and groggers.
Among other items, Platinum provided a silent auction that raised
money for the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit's No
Family Stands Alone campaign.
