editor's note

SPRING IS UPON US. And with the
occasional glimmers of sunlight and
greening up of the outdoors, our thoughts
turn to shedding layers of heavy winter
coats and sweaters and lightening up with
easy, breezy fashions. In "Spring Fling"
(page 17), we offer fresh ideas for jewelry,
bags, shoes and more in bright, bold hues
with a good dose of sparkle to help you
accessorize in pretty, springy style.
Inspired by the warming weather, we went to visit the lush,
green gardens surrounding the home of West Bloomfield couple
Cheryl and Dr. Joel Kimelman. See how Cheryl, an artist, has
expanded her canvas to transform her landscape in "The Path
To Tranquility" on page 20. And lastly, we continue our celebra-
tion of the season with a peek inside the annual Passover seder
in the Farmington Hills home of Debi and Dr. Lee Weinstein.
Turn to "A Simple Seder" on page 24 to see how family, friends,
elegance and ease unite — beautifully.
And have a wonderful Passover with your own family and
friends.
