helping special needs children play base-

at their special field in Southfield.

daughter of the late Richard Gooel, the
late Douglas Carey and the late Myron
Kaufman and the great-granddaughter of
the late Bert and the late Alma Gooel and
the late Virginia Carey.
Randi is a seventh-grade student at
West Hills Middle School in Bloomfield
Hills. Her mitzvah projects included
donating her hair to the Locks For Love
Organization.

Anthony is a student at Dunckel Middle
School in Farmington Hills. He felt his
most meaningful mitzvah project was
holding a sidewalk sale of gently used
books, toys and clothing to help raise
funds for Hurricane Katrina families.

Rachel is a student at Orchard Lake
Middle School in West Bloomfield. She
participated in many mitzvah projects
including the Relay for Life in West
Bloomfield.

Andrew Max Jacob cel-

is the son of Lauren
and Joel E. Jacob and
the brother of Merrick,

Autumn, Michael and
Micayla. Andrew's proud
grandparents are Stephanie and Alan
Dorfman, Vi and Marty Jacob and great-
grandmother Rae Dorfman Weiss.
Andrew is a student at Hillel Day School
of Metropolitan Detroit in Farmington
Hills. He enjoyed volunteering at Yad Ezra
in Berkley among his other mitzvah proj-
ects.

ebrates her bat mitzvah
Saturday, April 5. She
is the sister of Ryan
and the grandchild of
Renee Silver, Annette and Frank Kozin and
Suzanne Anderson. She is also the grand-
child of the late Louis Silver.
Jenna is a student at Clifford Smart
Middle School in Walled Lake. Helping
Temple Israel's Caring Community com-
mittee with shelter parties was the mitz-
vah project she felt most meaningful.

Noah Shane Krasman

called to the Torah
as a bar mitzvah on
Saturday, March 15, at
Congregation Shaarey
Zedek Southfield. He
is the son of Shelley
Krasman
and Gary Krasman and
brother of Ethan, Jamie and Zachary. Also
sharing in the simchah were grandmoth-
ers Ruth Messinger and Rosa Krasman.
He is the grandson of the late Alexander
Messinger and the late David Krasman.

the grandson of Eleanor
Meyers and the late Dr. Edward Meyers,
and the late Gail and the late Dr. Daniel
Cohen.
Ryan is a student at Abbott Middle
School in West Bloomfield. Among his
many mitzvah projects, he felt his most
meaningful one was participating in the
Tour for the Cure.

April 5. He is the son
of Janice and Steven

Ruby and the brother of
Matthew, Connor and

Wolf and Lloyd Ruby. He is also the grand-
child of the late Joyce Wolf.
Benjamin is a student at Geisler Middle
School in Walled Lake. He felt his partici-
pation in the Motor City Mitzvah Day was
the most meaningful of his many mitzvah
projects.
