he Friends & Family Society
at Jewish Apartments &
Services sponsored a pizza
party for residents of the Teitel build-
ing in Oak Park.
At the March 16 party, youngsters
served the residents. The group con-
sisted of eight girls from the Detroit
Teachers Seminary and four National
Honor Society students from Berkley

High School.
The seminary girls are from out of
town, most from the East Coast. The
students did their mitzvah/commu-

pizza, salad and soft drinks.
They also spent time with the
residents. A few practiced their not-
often-used Yiddish and Russian to the
delight of all.

Now it's time for us to return the favor. "It may not be as easy as Mom saying
yes to the perfect prom dress or Dad spending nights fixing up that old jalopy, but
we want them to feel that same kind of love. Because of our love for my mother,
we provide the highest quality care. We wanted to create an environment where
she could thrive, not just survive. Today, the memories of happiness she found in
her new surroundings guide the care of each Regent Street resident."
