County resident,
Frankel graduated
from Cranbrook in
1977. He received a
business degree from
Oakland University
and a juris doctor-
ate from Wayne State
University.
Frankel was
elected to the State

Bar Representative
Assembly. He is
a member of the
Probate Alliance, has acted as a probate
receiver, a probate facilitator and an
Oakland County-approved facilitator
and discovery master. He serves as a
special fiduciary and trustee.

Frankel has acted as a city prosecut-
ing attorney for several municipalities.
He is a member of the Inns of the Court
and participates in county and
federal pro bono programs.
Frankel has extensive expe-
rience as a probate and gener-
al civil litigator. He is approved
as a mediator for the Circuit
and Probate courts. He serves
often as a court-appointed
receiver, personal representa-
tive, trustee, conservator and
guardian.
Frankel is admitted to
practice in the state and

Lansky, Fealk, Roeder & Lazar PC in
Farmington Hills.
Mark Frankel has been married for 20
years and is the father of two children.

Paletz Chairs Campaign

a practicing attorney for more than
25 years, specializing in family law
and landlord/tenant matters. She is
past chair of the Family Law Section
of the State Bar of Michigan and
immediate past chair of the Family
Mediation Council-Michigan.
In 2002, Paletz was campaign
manager for Martha D. Anderson,
who was successful in winning a
seat on the Oaldand Circuit bench.
Judge Anderson is the spouse
of judicial candidate David Carl
Anderson.
Former Judge Barry L. Howard
will serve as treasurer and Robert E.
Paletz will handle advertising and
public relations for the Anderson

National Council of Jewish Women
Greater Detroit Section has formed
a Rainbows program for the
Oakland County area.
Rainbows (guiding kids through
life's storms) is an effective peer
support curricula for children who
have experienced a change in their
family life due to death, divorce,
separation or abandonment.
Rainbows is centered on trust,
acceptance and sharing in small,
age-appropriate group settings.
New sessions will start in March
for elementary school-age children
(grades K-6). Meetings will be
held 7-8 p.m. Thursdays for 12 ses-
sions.
An information meeting for
parents and children will be held
7-8 p.m. Thursday, March 6, at the
National Council of Jewish Women,
26400 Lahser Road, Suite 306,
Southfield.
The sessions will begin March 20
at Temple Shir Shalom, 3999 Walnut
Lake Rd., West Bloomfield.
