Birmingham a few years ago, I was

uncertain where to begin with advertis-

ing my infant/children's store — The

Purple Bear. I met with a very helpful

representative from the Jewish News

who filled me in on the practices,

potential and readership. I took the

information and advice and placed a

series of ads. Over the last few years

my business has grown and many

customers are Jewish News readers.

When I open the Jewish News to the

announcement section, I see the info

for new additions to families and can

count on seeing many of those babies

and moms.
