THE BEST OF EVERYTHING

Supping Solo

Single diners deserve the same courtesy that couples and groups get.

OTPOURRI
Hard to believe that there are
still some waitpersons who feel
that single diners are a waste of time ...
Plain and simple, without customers of
any type, these servers fail to realize that
they're out of a job ... Single dining is just
as much a part of today's restaurant life
as the territory of doubles, foursomes, etc.
... If waitpersons can't accept it, here's the
biggest tip they can get ... Start looking
for other employment in another field
because their passe skull-thickness feel-
ings are slam-bang out of today's door.

at Syracuse University and Gail Nulton,
whom Dick had met while both attended
Kenmore High in Kenmore, N.Y., was a

Protestant and Judge Michael Zimmer,
who tied their knot at the Lenox Hotel in
Buffalo, N.Y., is Jewish.
Radio legend Dick Purtan is this year's

MUCH WONDERMENT is out there
asking why there are not more restau-

Young folks are tired of hearing about all
the places moms and dads used to go for
music and ask why today there are only a
small amount for them to enjoy.
