David received his bachelor's degree from Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y., and his doctor of medicine degree from Tufts School of Medicine in Boston. He completed an ophthalmology residency and cornea fellowship at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami and is on faculty. A May wedding is planned at the Ritz-Carlton, Dearborn.
