their children Stephanie Morgan Fidler and
Abraham Kurzweil Lorber.
Stephanie resides in Seattle, Wash., where
she is an engineer for the Boeing Company.
She completed undergraduate and graduate
studies in industrial and operations engi-
neering at the University of Michigan.
In May, Abe will graduate with a juris
doctor from the University of Michigan,
where he also completed his undergraduate
studies in history and Judaic studies. He will
work for the law firm of Lane Powell in Seattle.
A May wedding is planned in Michigan.

Alter-Rodgers
M aria and Ira Sklar and
Stuart Alter are delighted to
announce the engagement of
their daughter Beth Lynne Alter to David
Perry Rodgers, son of Denise and Peter
Rodgers.
Beth received her bachelor of arts degree
in secondary English education from the
University of Michigan and her master's
degree in secondary English education
from Wayne State University in Detroit. She
teaches high school English and Spanish at
Airport Schools.
David received his bachelor of arts degree
in advertising from Michigan State University and his music teaching certificate
from UM-Flint. He teaches music at the Marvin Winans Academy of Performing
Arts in Detroit.
An October wedding is planned at Adat Shalom Synagogue in Farmington
Hills.
