arsha and Dave Bocan of
Los Angeles, formerly of
Farmington Hills, are delighted
to announce the engagement of their daugh-
ter Allison Eileen to Breck Handy, son of
Gail Thornton of Ketchum, Idaho, and Phil
Handy of Winter Park, Fla.
Allison graduated from the University of
Southern California with a bachelor of sci-
ence degree in business administration. She
is a regional director of sales and marketing
for Prism Hotels and Resorts.
Breck graduated from the University of
Colorado at Boulder with a bachelor of arts
degree, majoring in history and minoring in economics. He is a senior account
executive and media planner at Yahoo Inc.
A June wedding is planned in Sun Valley, Idaho.

ment of their son Brian Allen
Lipson to Marie Christine Bouffard, daugh-
ter of Francois Bouffard and Elizabeth Dion
of Montreal, Canada.
Brian is a graduate of the University of
Michigan and is a professional musician,
both producing and performing.
Marie Christine is a graduate of the
International Academy of Design and is a
fashion designer in Montreal.
Both families are joyously awaiting an
August wedding in Quebec, Canada.

Jeremy graduated from the College of
Creative Studies in Detroit and is employed
with Avroko Design Group in New York,
where he is director of furniture, lighting and
architectural installations.
Jill graduated from the Fashion Institute of
Technology in New York and is manager of
Creative Services Worldwide at Tiffany & Co.
Jeremy and Jill reside in New York City and are planning a June wedding in
Manchester, Vt.

Donald Jacobs of Charlotte, N.C.,

their daughter Lauren Rachel Jacobs to David
Jonathon Weiner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey
Weiner of Bethesda, Md.
David earned his juris doctor from Emory
University School of Law and his master
of business administration from Goizueta
Business School, both in Atlanta. He is
employed as an attorney at Kirkland & Ellis
LLP in New York.
Lauren earned her master's degree in
school psychology from Tufts University in Boston. She is employed as a school
psychologist for Branchburg, N.J., public schools.
An August wedding is planned in Michigan.

hayna Levine and Jeffrey Levin were
recently married at Temple Israel in
West Bloomfield. Rabbi Paul Yedwab
and cantorial soloist Neil Michaels offici-
ated. Shayna is the daughter of Helen Levine
of Farmington Hills and Paul and Caroline
Levine of Lapeer. Jeff is the son of Mickey
and Beryl Levin of Farmington Hills.
Shayna and Jeff were honored to have
Shayna's grandmother Ruthe Levine partici-
pate in the ceremony.
Julie Ford Morrow, friend of the bride, was
matron of honor. Sara Levin, sister of the
groom, and Allison Weisl, sister of the bride,
were bridesmaids.
Jeff Kaufman, friend of the groom, served as best man. Joey Levine, brother of
the bride, and David Domstein, cousin of the groom, were groomsmen.
Emily Levine, sister of the bride, was the flower girl; and Jacob Levine, brother
of the bride, served as honorary ring bearer.
Following a honeymoon in Las Vegas and Hawaii, the couple reside in
Commerce Township.

Heller-Zumberg

athy and Marshall Zumberg of
Huntington Woods announce the
engagement of their daughter
Jerrin to Aron Heller, son of Barbara and
Mark Heller of Kochav Yair, Israel.
The couple met in July 2006, two weeks
after Jerrin moved to Israel. Since then, she
began studying for a master of arts at the
Hebrew University; Aron is working as a
correspondent for the Associated Press in
Jerusalem.
They are planning an August wedding in
Israel, a reception in Detroit one month later
and a honeymoon in between.
