He is a vol- unteer at the Friendship Circle in West Bloomfield, completing a training program with them and now volunteering with autistic children at the West Bloomfield Laker Center. Emily Lauren Barish and Hanna Rachel Barish, daughters of Dr. Patrice Barish, will be called to the bimah as they celebrate their b'not mitzvah Saturday, March 8, at Temple Israel in Emily Barish West Bloomfield. They are the grandchildren of the late Kay Jurkowitz- Levan and the late Herbert Barish and the great-grandchild of the late Helen and the late Phillip Jurkowitz. Emily and Hanna Hanna Barish attend Cranbrook Kingswood Middle School in Bloomfield Hills. Emily felt her most meaningful mitzvah project was visiting children who are ill at Beaumont Hospital in Oakland County. Hanna helped at Lighthouse PATH, working in the day care center and felt this was her most meaningful mitzvah experience.
