A dentist, Dr. Pensler was an administrator of Dearborn Medical Center, which he co-founded with his brothers, Les and Mike, and brother-in- law, Al. Dr. Pensler was a captain in the U.S. Army during World War II. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. Jay and Laurie Pensler of Chicago, Sanford "Sandy" and Anita Pensler of Princeton, N.J.; daughter and son-in-law, Sheri and Rick Gerlinger of Ann Arbor; grand- children, Arielle and Alexander Pensler, Jonathan and Natasha Pensler, Megan and Emma Gerlinger. He was the beloved husband of the late Joyce Pensler; the cherished brother of the late Dr. Meyer Pensler, the late Dorothy Koffman, the late Dr. Leslie Pensler, the late Rose Borman and the late Max Pensler.
