SILVER, 92, of
Bloomfield Hills,
died Feb. 19, 2008.
She was a probate
attorney, who gradu-
ated from Wayne
State University Law
Silver
School in 1940. Mrs.
Silver was active in
and a past president of Maimonides
Medical Society, a lifelong member of
the Zionist Organization of America,
founding member of Temple Israel and
a past president of ZOA Detroit.
She is survived by her daughter,
Sheryl Gae Silver of Florida; son
and daughter-in-law, Dr. Daniel and
Lynnette Silver of California; grand-
children, Wendy Elizabeth and Craig
Perkins, Sophia Rose Silver, Michael
Geoffrey Silver, Stephen Jacob Silver;
great-grandchildren, Jillian Lauren
Perkins, Leah Sarah Perkins and Lilly
Rose Silver.
Mrs. Silver was the beloved wife of
the late Dr. Israel Walter Silver; lov-
ing mother of the late Johanna Silver
Gordon.
Interment at Hebrew Memorial

MORRIS SPINNER, 87, of Novi, died
Feb. 22, 2008. He was a structural steel
fitter for Conveyer Engineering.
Mr. Spinner is survived by his daugh-
ter, Bobbi Sedley of Ohio; son and
daughter-in-law, Marshall and Paula
Spinner of West Bloomfield; grandchil-
dren, Jennifer and Patrick Clark, Stacy
Sedley; great-granddaughters, Abigail
and Hannah Clark; sister, Evelyn
Barnett; sister-in-law, Shirley Esko;
companion, Olive Porter.
He was the beloved husband of the
late Pearl Spinner; loving father-in-law
of the late Robert Sedley; dear brother-
in-law of the late Marvin Esko.
Interment at Workmen's Circle
Cemetery. Contributions may be made

5000, Rochester, MI 48308, or to a char-

ETHEL G. SUSMAN, former Detroiter
of Woodland Hills, Calif., died Jan. 16,
2008.
She is survived by her son and
daughter-in-law, Gerald and Elizabeth
Susman of Penn Furnace, Pa.; daughter
and son-in-law, Carol and Leslie Laskey
of Van Nuys, Calif.; grandchildren, Brain
(Shannon) and Jessica Laskey; sister,
Rosalyn Stone of Bingham Farms.
Mrs. Susman was the beloved wife
of the late Joseph Susman; sister of the
late Evelyn Sharkus and the late Della
Bronstein.

SHARLENE
UNGAR, 72, of West
Bloomfield, died Feb.
19, 2008.
The retired
executive director of
Congregation B'nai
Moshe, Mrs. Ungar
received her master's
degree in education
from the University of Michigan. She
was an active member of Congregation
B'nai Moshe and its sisterhood.
Mrs. Ungar is survived by her
husband, Seymour Ungar of West
Bloomfield; sons and a daughter-in-law,
Joel and Janice Ungar, Rabbi Michael
Ungar; daughter and son-in-law,
Michele and Arthur Siegal; grand-
children, Eliana and Matthew Ungar,
Abby and Scott Siegal, Rami, Adi, Maya
and Liat Ungar; sister and brother-in-
law, Sidell and Joel Goldman; many
loving nieces, nephews, cousins; her
Congregation B'nai Moshe family.
Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.

BETTY ZIMMERMAN, 89, of West
Bloomfield, died Feb. 25, 2008.
She is survived by her brothers and
sisters-in-law, Dr. Henry L. and Janice
Citron of West Bloomfield, Eugene and
Barbara Citron of Farmington Hills;
loving nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Zimmerman was the beloved
wife of the late Irving Zimmerman;
dear sister of the late Ernest Citron.
