her bat mitzvah

March 1, at
Congregation Shaarey Zedek
Southfield. Sharing in her joy are
grandparents Michael and Susan
Berke and Melvyn and Donna
Sternfeld. Proud great-grandmoth-
er is Audree Horwitz. She is also the
granddaughter of the late Rosalyn
Berke.
Stefanie attends West Hills
Middle School in Bloomfield
Hills. Her most meaningful
mitzvah projects included rais-
ing money for the Epilepsy
Foundation during a walk at the
Detroit Zoo.

Sarah Wolf was called to the
Torah as a bat mitzvah on
Saturday, Feb. 23, at Congregation
Beth Ahm in West Bloomfield.
She is the daughter of Dr. Mark
and Faye Wolf, sister to Arielle
and Avery and granddaughter to
Benjamin Kawer and Irene Wolf.
She is also the granddaughter of
the late Esther Kawer and the late
Abraham Wolf.
Sarah attends West Hills Middle
School in Bloomfield Hills. Her
first mitzvah as an adult is with
the Suite Dreams Project. Sarah
shared the celebration with her
zaydie Ben Kawer, as he was called
to the Torah for his second bar
mitzvah.
