Can, Bottle Drive
The Social Action Committee of Temple
Emanu-El in Oak Park has adopted
Hospice Matlosana in South Africa in
a joint effort with the Detroit-based
Henry Ford Hospice, as a "repair the
world" project.
The CAB Drive — Can and Bottle
days will be the first Sundays in March,
April and May, 9 a.m.-noon.
Bring clean and empty deposit cans
and bottles to the temple on Sunday,
March 2. The redeemed funds will be
sent to Henry Ford Hospice, which will
ensure shipment to Hospice Matlosana.
Proceeds of personally returned
cans and bottles may be donated to the
