They include a film festival celebrating local filmmakers as well as movies about Michigan (selections include Encore on Woodward, a documentary about the restoration of the Fox Theatre by local filmmaker Sue Marx) and a two-day preview of Movement '08, Detroit's electronic music festival that will feature the city's emerging DJs and producers. Three live entertainment stages will showcase music from more than 60 bands (including teen band Jam Society 1:30 p.m. Saturday on the Michigan Lottery Stage).
