Judge Barry M. Grant, Oakland
County probate judge, has been
elected to serve as chairperson of the
Michigan Judicial Tenure Commission.
He was first elected to the Tenure
Commission in 1986 and has served
longer than any member in the history
of the commission. He serves as chief
judge pro tern of the Probate Court.
