MARTIN GURWIN, 89, of Southfield,
died Jan. 15, 2008.
A manufacturer's representative for
children's wear, Mr. Gurwin was an
Army veteran of World War II and a
member of Temple Beth El and IRE
He is survived by sons and a daugh-
ter-in-law, Howard and Jill Gurwin of
Bloomfield Hills, Marshall Gurwin of
Novi; grandchildren, Amanda and Seth
Tompkins, Brian and Jackie Gurwin;
great-grandchildren, Joshua and Jacob
Tompkins, Kimberly and Matthew
Gurwin; sisters-in-law, June Gurwin
and Ruth Fuller; companion, Dolly
Rotenberg.
Mr. Gurwin was the beloved hus-
band of the late Charlotte Gurwin; the
dear father of the late Richard Gurwin;
the cherished brother of the late Robert
Gurwin; the dearest brother-in-law of
the late Sidney Fuller.
Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.

Club for 46 years and was an avid golf-
er, tennis player and bowler. She also
loved bridge and belonged to many
bridge clubs.
Mrs. Ketai is survived by her
husband, Dr. Norbert Ketai of West
Bloomfield; sons and daughters-in-law,
Dr. Richard Ketai and Laura Levine
of Glastonbury, Conn., Dr. Robert
Ketai and Bonnie Fishman of West
Bloomfield; daughter, Jeanne Levi of
Overland Park, Kan.; son-in-law, Dr.
