ierri Gerber and David Somers were
married recently outside at Beacon Hill
in Commerce Township. Rabbi Harold
Loss of Temple Israel in West Bloomfield and
cantorial soloist Penny Steyer of Temple Shir
Shalom, also in West Bloomfield, officiated.
The bride's parents are Steve and Joyce
Gerber of Ann Arbor. The groom's parents are
Sandy Somers of New Boston and Ron Somers
of Northville.
The matron of honor was Lisa Gerber,
the bride's sister-in law. The best man
was Jesse Boone, the groom's best friend.
Bridesmaids included Stephanie Pandolfi,
Karen Gula, Kathy Tuszynski, Andrea Bolton, Julie Abderholden, Nancy Mclaughlin,
Marcie Madrid, Melissa Weisberger, Lee Youngs, Carrie Montgomery and Marcy
Obuhanich. Groomsmen were Gary Gerber, Michael Somers and Peter Starkel.
The couple spent a two-week honeymoon in Italy.

Michael received his bachelor's degree
from Wayne State University in Detroit and
his medical degree from the Arizona College
of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale, Ariz.
He is in private practice in Phoenix, Ariz., in
general surgery.
Naomi was born and raised in Singapore,
attended boarding school in Australia and
has been residing in the United States for
the past several years.

usie and Norman Pappas of
Bloomfield Hills are very happy to

daughter Leslie Michelle to Nathaniel Ungar,
son of Essie and Phillip Levbarg and Jack
Ungar of West Long Branch, N.J.
Leslie received a bachelor of arts degree
in English from University of Michigan and
juris doctor from Cardoza University in
Pennsylvania. She is a senior development
associate at UJA-Federation of New York.
Nathaniel received a bachelor of arts in
psychology at University of Massachusetts
in Amherst and is completing a doctorate
degree in human factors engineering at University of Cincinnati.
Following their February wedding in New Jersey, Leslie and Nathaniel will live
in Cincinnati, Ohio.
