By Scott Scher The Bourne Ultimatum: In last summer's hottest suspense film, we were treated to Jason Bourne driving backwards off a parking roof. With the police on his tail, he shakes them quickly. The camera is very jerky in this scene, but it definitely makes you feel like you're sitting right next to Bourne. Death Proof. In the second movie to last spring's Grindhouse double feature, Academy Award-winner Quentin Tarantino directs a long, thrilling car scene in which a ruthless killer plays cat and mouse with a group of girls trying out a stunt where a girl ties herself to the hood of the car. Heat: Nothing like Academy Award-winning actors Al Pacino and Robert De Niro to really get your blood flowing in this car chase scene — regarded one of the best in movie history. Pacino plays the cop on De Niro's trail as De Niro tries to pull off a grand heist. The Batmobile from "Batman Begins"— shown at the E3 video game show In Los Angeles 2005. Batman Begins: The return of the Batmobile in 2005 grabbed everyone's attention as it raced through the streets of Gotham City. This revamped Batmobile races from police and makes incredible jumps along the way. Awesome scene. Watch for the sequel The Dark Knight, this summer. Cars and trucks flipping over on the highway because of bat- tling robots is something else. It's the classic duel between the Auto- bots and the Decepticons, and a few automobiles get in the way ... big mistake. Terminator 2: Judgment Day: Arnold told you he'd come back, but not like this. The original Terminator helps John Connor escape on motorcycle as the evil Terminator tracks them down with a semi- truck. Somehow, someway, Arnold wins this battle.
