Bloomfied. She is the
Goldman
daughter of Barbara
Tapper Goldman and
Jay Goldman and the granddaugh-
ter of the late Morris and the late
Regina Tapper, the late Rhoda Cantor
Goldman, the late Sheldon Goldman
and the late Ruth Goldman Marcus.
Laura is a seventh-grade student at
Orchard Lake Middle School in West
Bloomfield. Her mitzvah projects
included volunteering at Detroit-based
Gleaners Food Bank.

eon and Faye Stone, formerly of
Michigan and Ohio, of Boca Raton,
Fla., will celebrate their 60th wed-
ding anniversary at their home in Boca
Pointe with a dinner party "roast" on Dec.
29 with their family and dear friends. Mr.
stone operated a chain of health clubs and
later become a life insurance broker; Mrs.
Stone remains a homemaker. The Stones
have two daughters, Judith Estvander and
Deborah Stone, two grandsons and five
great-grandchildren.

will celebrate her

Temple Israel in
West Bloomfield on
Saturday, Jan. 5, as
she is called to read
from the Torah. She
Stoloff
is the daughter of
Brenda and Paul
Stoloff and the sister of Matthew. She
is the grandchild of Geraldine Kraus.
She is also the grandchild of the late
Edmond Kraus and the late Ethel
and Marvin Stoloff. Her proud great-
grandmother is Esther Kaplan.
Hannah attends Geisler Middle
School in Walled Lake. She organized
a personal garage sale and the funds
raised were donated to Temple Israel's
Caring Community. Hannah felt this
was her most meaningful mitzvah
project.

Bloomfield Hills celebrated
their 50th wedding anniversa-
ry on Aug. 11 surrounded by their children,
Andrea Fischer Newman, Frank Newman,
Jill Fischer Rachesky and Mark H. Rachesky,
and their grandchildren, Lauren Fischer
Schy, David Francis Newman, Allison
Rachesky, Samantha Rachesky, Steven
Rachesky, Kate Rachesky, in Southampton,
N.Y. This coming year they will take a trip to
continue their celebration.
