Cranbrook Schools presents day
camps for camper's ages 5 to 19.
Explore activities like swimming,
sports, arts and crafts, nature and
science exploration, music and drama
on Cranbrook's beautiful 319-acre
campus. Specialized programs help
develop talents for jazz, theatre,
authors, and art. Childcare is available
for enrolled campers before and after
camp hours.

Roeper offers four summer programs.
The Roeper Summer Day Camp is
a recreational day camp for children
three to eleven years old and is
located in Bloomfield Hills. The Roeper
Summer Stock Theatre is designed
to develop and showcase the skills of
students entering 3rd through 12th
grades who are interested in theatre
training. The Roeper Science Camp
is for students entering 6th through 8th
grades who love science and want to
explore science concepts with hands-
on activities in real-life situations. The
Roeper Dance Camp, provides dancers
with a solid foundation in ballet and
modern dance technique, combined
with the opportunity to explore
and refine their choreographic and
interpretive dance skills. The Summer
Stock Theatre, Science and Dance
Camps are held in Birmingham. Please

She is the daughter of
Elaine and Michael

Max. Proud grand-
parents include Betty and Lou Meltzer of
Boynton Beach, Fla., and Margaret and
George Campbell. She is also the grand-
daughter of the late Max L. Trotz.
Abby is an eighth-grade student at
Warner Middle School in Farmington
Hills. Her mitzvah project was devoted
to helping the elderly through multiple
organizations throughout the city.

Zachary Adam
Zimberg celebrated
his bar mitzvah on
Sunday, Dec. 9, at
the Huntington
Woods Center. His
proud parents are
Steven Zimberg of

Huntington Woods
and Monique
Melson of Naperville, Ill., and proud
stepfather William Melson. He is the
brother of Alexis Zimberg and new
sister Olivia. He is the grandson of
Shirley and Donald Zimberg of Oak
Park, Donna Toporowski of California
and the late Jarzy Toporowski of Poland.
He is a great-grandchild of the late Ida
and the late Hyman Zimberg, the late
Bertha Mishcovsky and the late Maria
Sobanska, both of Poland.
Zachary is an eighth-grade student at
Gregory Middle School in Naperville, Ill.
He was instrumental in the development
of the Single Jewish Parents Network, a
division of the Jewish Federation.

Aimee is a graduate of the University of
Michigan; she then received her doctor of
dental surgery degree at the University of
Buffalo School of Dental Medicine.
Matt received his undergraddegree at
the University of Maryland in College Park
and his doctor of dental surgery degree at
the University of Buffalo School of Dental
Medicine.
Aimee and Matt reside in and are in private practice in Brooklyn.
An April wedding is planned in Detroit.
