83 of Cincinnati, Ohio, died Nov. 29,
2007.
She was a member of the Sephardic
Congregation of Cincinnati and a vol-
unteer for many Jewish organizations.
Mrs. Abravaya is survived by her
brother, Joseph Modiano of West
Bloomfield; daughters, Sharyn Weiss
and Robin Duvall; granddaugh-
ters, Sarah and Caryn Duvall, all of
Cincinnati; niece, Pam Braunstein of
Cincinnati.
She was the beloved wife of the late
Matthew Abravaya; daughter of the late
Isaac and the late Recka Modiano; sister
of the late Clara Wood and the late Paul
Modiano, who was killed in World War
II.

KHAYA GUREVICH, 93, of Oak Park,
died Dec. 7, 2007.
She is survived by her son and
daughter-in-law, Roman and Larisa
Gurevich of Waterford; daughter and
son-in-law, Leah and Isay Khessin of
Southfield; brother, Moshe Gurevich of
Israel; grandchildren, Victor and Nataya
Khessin, Leonard and Nataya Khessin,
Vadim and Bella Gurevich, Leo and
Anastacia Gurvich; three great-grand-
children.
Mrs. Gurevich was the beloved wife of
the late Isaak Gurevich.
