Edut-Sleebos

phira Sophie Edut and Jeffrey
Michel Sleebos were recently mar-
ried in New York City. The bride's
parents are Mr. Shimon and Rabbi Dorit Edut
of Huntington Woods; the groom's parents
are Lies and Jan van der Weide of Enschede,
Netherlands. The bride's mother officiated
along with Cantor Liat Pelman-Forst.
Ophira is a graduate of the University
of Michigan School of Art and along with
her twin sister, Tali Edut, have their own
design company, Mediarology.com , and have
become successful writers and astrologers.
Jeffrey is an entrepreneur whose busi-
nesses have included a European car repair shop and a European hardwood-
flooring factory. He has lived in New York since 1992 and has an 8-year-old
daughter, Clementine. The couple reside in Manhattan.

izabeth Erin Herskovitz and Ady
Peleg were recently married at the
Lovett Hall in Dearborn. Rabbi
Schneor Greenberg of Chabad of Commerce
officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Gerald Herskovitz of Farmington Hills. The
groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel
Peleg of Keego Harbor.
Cari Leigh Herskovitz, sister of the bride,
was maid of honor; the best men were Leor
and Michael Peleg, brothers of the groom.
Following a honeymoon in Hawaii, the
couple will reside in Keego Harbor.

Ruben-Wiener

avid and Suzi Wiener of
Oak Park are thrilled to
announce the engage-
ment of their daughter Stefani
Wiener to Shalom Ruben, son
of Kenneth Ruben and Deborah
Ruth of Crescent City, Calif., and
Cincinnati respectively.
Stefani received her bachelor's
from the University of Michigan
and her master's in occupational
therapy from Rush University
in Chicago; she is working with
children within the Los Angeles
Unified School District.
Shalom received his bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of
Washington in Seattle and is in the Ph.D. program at UCLA, studying systems
and control in the mechanical and aerospace department.
A July wedding in Michigan is planned.
