Singing For COTS Barbara Becker, a math teacher at Detroit Country Day School in Beverly Hills, will celebrate her 50th birthday .4 2004 the UJC voted to expel the United Jewish Federation of Tidewater, Va., for failing to pay its dues. The expulsion was rescinded when Tidewater's board voted to pay. The Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County, Fla., this year asked UJC to lower its dues because of high operating costs for its communal cam- pus.
