a bat mitzvah Saturday,
Dec. 1, at Congregation
Shaarey Zedek
Southfield. Sharing in
her simchah will be her
parents, Sari and Mitchell
Cicurel, and brothers Ari
and Noah. Also partici-
pating in her service will be her grandpar-
ents Charles and Maxine Shapiro of Grand
Rapids and Cell Cicurel of West Bloomfield.
Marisa is also the granddaughter of the late
Sol Cicurel.
Marisa is a student at West Hills Middle
School in Bloomfield Hills. One of her most
meaningful mitzvah projects was donating
her hair to Locks of Love.

Labor Day picnic.

Saturday, Dec. 1. She is

the daughter of Jodi and
Rob Goodman and the
sister of Rachel and Jessica. Proud grand-
parents are Sandy and Terry Grosslight and
Mae and Milt Goodman.
Emily is a student at Hillel Day School of
Metropolitan Detroit in Farmington Hills.
One of her mitzvah projects was working as
a Bookstock volunteer and cashier.

Va., formerly of Auburn Hills, are proud

ebrate her bat mitzvah

Torah Saturday, Dec.
1, at Temple Israel in
Rosenblat
West Bloomfield. She is
the grandchild of Rose
Rosenblat. She is also the grandchild of the
late Leonard Rosenblat and the late Joan
and Nino Devitis.
Alexa is a student at Sarah Banks Middle
School in Walled Lake. She felt her most
meaningful mitzvah project was collect-
ing funds and donating them to Ronald
McDonald House.

Eden Rebecca Roth will
be called to the Torah as
a bat mitzvah Saturday,
Dec. 1, at Congregation
B'nai Moshe in West
Bloomfield. Sharing in
this simchah will be her
proud parents, Bruce

and Stacie, as well as

grandparents are Judy Roth, Pat and Barry
Levine. Her proud great-grandmother is
Florence Kline. She is also the granddaugh-
ter of the late Sanford Roth.
Eden is a student at Clifford Smart
Middle School in Walled Lake. One of her
mitzvah projects was volunteering for the
West Bloomfield-based Friendship Circle.

Matthew is a student at Walnut Creek
Middle School in Walled Lake. His involve-
ment at West Bloomfield-based Friendship
Circle was the mitzvah project he found to
be most meaningful.

Jared Matthew Smith

in Fox Point, Wis., as he
celebrates his bar mitz-
vah Saturday, Dec. 1. He
is the son of Don and
Smith
Wendy Smith, formerly
of Commerce Twp., and
the brother of Andrew. Sharing in this
simchah will be his grandparents Norman
and Phyllis Solomon, Beverly and Donald L.
Smith and many out-of-town guests.
Jared is a seventh-grade student at
Bayside Middle School in Bayside, Wis.
Recently he was able to give back to the
community by raising money to fight breast
cancer .

Barbara and Larry Traison of Bloomfield
Hills.
Rebecca attends Hillel Day School
of Metropolitan Detroit in Farmington
Hills. She sold Juvenile Diabetes Research
Foundation paper sneakers in honor of her
sister Randi to raise money for a cure for
diabetes.

Jake Samuels Vosburgh
will be called to the
Torah as a bar mitzvah
on Saturday, Dec. 1, at
Temple Beth Emeth
in Ann Arbor. He is the
son of Steffanie and
Gary Fineman and Kurt
Vosburqh
Vosburgh and the brother
of Leo. Celebrating with
him will be his proud grandparents Dan
and Phyllis Pliskow as well as Sharon and
Kenny Singer.
Jake attends Forsythe Middle School in
Ann Arbor. His most meaningful mitzvah
project was volunteering at Food Gatherers,
an organization that provides food to those
in need.
