Birmingham Temple in Farmington Hills
officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Judy and
Jim Sanders of Farmington. The groom is
the son of Arlene and Jerome Blum of West
Bloomfield and Geraldine and Allan Emery
of Farmington Hills.
Jennifer Boyle, sister of the bride, was the
matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Lisa
Elkin, Cathleen Lutz, Carla Harvey, Tricia
Seabolt and Rejane Pierre.
The best men were Joshua and Aaron Elkin, nephews of the groom.
Jerrold, a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, is a software developer
at Compuware Corporation. Carolyn earned her master's degree in social work
from Wayne State University in Detroit and is a rehabilitation case manager at
the Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan, a part of the Detroit Medical Center.
Jerrold and Carolyn are planning a January honeymoon and will reside in
Ferndale.

aura Shannon Komjathy and
Shlomo Shmuel Dellal were married
recently at Adat Shalom Synagogue
in Farmington Hills. Rabbi Rachel Shere and
Dan Shere officiated.
Laura is the daughter of Robert and
Patricia Komjathy of Brighton. Shlomo is the
son of Ezra and Ahuva Dellal of Los Angeles.
Laura has a bachelor's in chemical engi-
neering and a master's in pharmaceutical
engineering from the University of Michigan
and a juris doctor degree from University of
Detroit Mercy. She is a patent attorney with
Kohn & Associates in Farmington Hills.
Shlomo has a bachelor's degree in math and genetics from University of
California, Berkeley. He is a Ph.D. candidate in neuroscience at U-M.
Sarah Komjathy, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids
were Anita Ramamurthy, Joyce Kau, Naima White and Beverly Fregoso.
Skanthan Vivekananda, friend of the groom, was the best man. Groomsmen
were Rob Komjathy, Stanley Dallal, Mark Smith and Sean Low.
The couple spent 17 days in Israel, Turkey and the Greek Islands. They will
reside in Los Angeles, where Shlomo will continue post-doctoral research at
UCLA.
