of 5o Fabulous graduates were selected to represent the school's alumni. This is a distinguished and diverse

As a Fulbright Scholar, Erica Guyer researched Canadian
Aboriginal law at McGill University. Erica received a B.A.,
with honors, from Brown University, in Anthropology; an
M.A. in Anthropology from Arizona State University; and
a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School.

Erica credits her Hillel teachers with helping her think more critically and making community giving
an important part of her continued work. Erica's siblings, Sara and Jonathon, are also Hillel graduates.
Sara received a Ph.D. from University of California, Berkeley in Rhetoric and is currently a tenured
professor of English at the University of Wisconsin. Jonathan is in his senior year at Brown University.

Owen Alterman has served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Romania, worked at internships
in Hong Kong and Sierra Leone, retraced the Silk Road from Turkey to China, and has
traveled extensively in the Middle East and the Balkans. For Owen, "knowledge of the
Hebrew language has been a huge asset. Learning a second language at six years old is not
something I could have had without Hillel." Hillel was an important part of Owen's childhood
and he especially remembers his committed teachers, the
outstanding education, and the close-knit student body.

Owen currently works as a lawyer in New York
City. He completed his law degree at Harvard
Law School and his undergraduate degree at Princeton University. Owen worked
as a Harvard research assistant and writer for Alan Dershowitz for two books
including The Case for Israel. Owen also worked as a law clerk to the Honorable
Asher Dan Grunis of the Israeli Supreme Court.

As a student at Hillel, Adam played the role of the cowboy, Curly, in Oklahoma! "I was

in all of the plays at Hillel; they really encouraged their student's creativity." Adam's
mother, Sharon Schwartz, is a Hillel English teacher.
Now a Hollywood screenwriter, Adam co-wrote the feature script, New Year's Steve, with fellow Hillel graduate, friend
and college roommate, Josh Herman. The script, in development with zoth Century Fox, is a comedy that follows a
number of outrageous resolutions that echo throughout a never-ending New Year's Eve. Of his screenwriting career,
Adam says, "Hollywood is littered with Jews, and my scripts have a very Jewish sense of humor." Adam also co-wrote
My Big Fat Independent Movie and has written for television's MTV Movie Awards and Talk Soup.
