New Emissary Arrives

The Metropolitan Detroit-Ann
Arbor Habonim-Dror Youth
Organization, in conjunction
with Camp Tavor in Three Rivers,
Mich., announce the arrival of its
shlichah (emissary) for the move-
ment, Hadas Grinvald.
Grinvald grew up in Holon,
Israel, and served as an intel-
ligence officer in the army. After
completing her bachelor's degree
at the Ben-Gurion University in
Beersheva, she was an organizer
in Cambridge, England, and also
worked for the World Union of
Jewish Students.
Grinvald,
who will also
be working
at the Hillel
at Western
Michigan
University in
Kalamazoo,
is responsible
Hadas Grinvald
for overseeing
the activities
of several Habonim-Dror Youth
groups (kenim) in suburban
Detroit and Ann Arbor. This group
offers year-round activities in the
city for youth ages 8-18, with an
emphasis on friendship, social
justice, and Israel.
