daughter Janna Davidson to Chris
Gilbert, son of Thomas and Betsy Gilbert of
Crestwood, Ky.
Janna and Chris met while at Columbia
University in New York City, where they each
received their master of business adminis-
tration degrees.
Janna is working as a consultant at
McKinsey & Company consultants. Chris
works in real estate in New York City.
A June wedding is planned in New York,
where the couple reside.

of Indialantic, Fla., are thrilled
to announce the engagement of their son
Michael Borofsky to Jaclyn Moscoe, daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Moscoe of
Minnetonka, Minn.
Michael is attending medical school at the
University of Michigan, after completing his
undergraduate studies in classical civiliza-
tions at the University of Michigan.
Jacki received her master's degree in edu-
cation at the University of Michigan, after
completing her undergraduate studies in
organizational psychology at the University of Michigan and is a kindergarten
teacher at Hillel Day School of Metropolitan Detroit in the same room where her
fiance began his Jewish day school education.
A December wedding in Miami, Fla., is planned.

loyd H. Strausz of West Bloomfield,
Gold Medal Senior Olympian, cel-
ebrated his 90th birthday with fam-
ily on Oct. 15. He is the loving companion of
Renee Eisenberg of West Bloomfield; father
of Richard (Brenda) Strausz of Southfield
and Jo Strausz Rosen of West Bloomfield.
He is the grandfather of Mike Strausz (Kate
Marshall) of Seattle; Jennifer Strausz of New
York; Marty and Lindsey (Rosen) Maddin
of Huntington Woods; and Zak Rosen of
Detroit. An avid crossword puzzle maven, he
is a 46-year member of Temple Emanu-El
who enjoys volunteering, table tennis, pool
and working out at the JCC with his friends.
