were recently married at Temple
Israel in West Bloomfield. Rabbi
Joshua Bennett of Temple Israel and Rabbi
Daniel Nevins of Adat Shalom Synagogue,
Farmington Hills, officiated.
Laura is the daughter of Karen and Bruce
Lazar of Farmington Hills. Brian is the son
of Rochelle and Charles Markle of West
Bloomfield.
Illana Stern, friend of the bride, was
matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Beth
Berman, Mindy Markle, Denise Sweet,
Danielle Tobias, Sarah Schwartz and Nicole
Etkin.
Larry Markle, brother of the groom, was the best man. Groomsmen were
David Lazar, Aaron Berman, Benjamin Manson, Jeffrey Kaufman, Michael
Fienman, Alex Ayzenberg and Tom Friedrich.
Ring bearers were Joshua and Jared Kraft, cousins of the groom, and Max
Barish, cousin of the bride. Laura and Brian were honored to have Esther Pantzer
and Pearl Lazar, grandmothers of the bride, and Shirley Platt, grandmother of
the groom, participate in the ceremony.
Following a honeymoon in the Caribbean, the couple now reside in Chicago.

Ill. Rabbi Evan Ivloffic officiated.
Jessica is the daughter of Dr. Glenn and
Dyane Weiner of Buffalo Grove, Ill. Michael
is the son of Dennis and Nancy Liefer of
Farmington Hills.
Rebecca Weiner, Jessica's sister, was
maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Michelle
Horwitz, Jaime Brenner, Heidi McClenahan,
Amy Rosen, Lauren Winer, Marni Brown
and Jennifer Phillips.
Jonathan Weinberg was best man.
Groomsmen were Scott Liefer and Jonathan
Liefer, brothers of the groom; Zachary Weiner, brother of the bride; Steven
Ingber, Joey Bigelman, Jesse Lafer, Justin Bayer and Neil Rosenbaum.
Michael and Jessica were delighted to have their grandparents Sylvia and Al
Shavin of Northbrook and Celia Liefer of Southfield participate in the ceremony.
Michael's grandmother Shirley Levine of Walled Lake was unable to attend.
The couple honeymooned in Hawaii and reside in Arlington Heights, Ill.
