He is the grandson of Francis and Joseph Fetter and Phyllis Johnston. Mitchell attends West Hills Middle School in Bloomfield Hills. He felt being involved with West Bloomfield-based Friendship Circle and their programs was his most meaningful mitzvah project. Seth Mitchell Garelik (Shir) will be called to the Torah as a bar mitzvah on Saturday, Nov. 17, at Congregation B'nai Moshe in West Bloomfield. Participat- ing in the ceremony will Garelik be Seth's proud parents, Debra and Bruce Garelik, and his sister Lauren. Proud grandparents are Joyce Borovoy and Kathleen and Earle Kanners. Seth is also the grandson of the late Mathew Borovoy and the late Laurence Garelik. He is a student at Hillel Day School of Metropolitan Detroit in Farmington Hills. Seth has volunteered at the West Bloomfield Fleischman Residence as one of his mitzvah projects. Henry Aaron Katz, son of Margie and Marc Katz of Greenlawn, N.Y., will be called to the Torah as a bar mitzvah on Saturday, Nov. 17, at Huntington Jewish Center in Huntington, N.Y. He is the brother of Oliver and Lillian and the grandson of Adria and Marvin Aronovitz of West Bloomfield and Paulette and Harlan Katz of Granger, Ind. Katz Henry is also the great- grandson of Essi Katz of Mishawaka, Ind., as well as the late Irvin and the late Lillian Meckler and the late Harry and the late Sophie Aronovitz. Henry is an eighth-grade student at Oldfield Middle School in Greenlawn. His tikum olam project included volunteering at Carillon Nursing Home in his home- town. Mitchell Lyndon Kramer will be called to the bimah to read from the Torah as he celebrates his bar mitz- vah Friday, Nov. 16, at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield. He is the Kramer son of Starr and Robert Kramer and the brother of Jack, Ryan and Brett. His proud grand- parents are Barbara Baker and Ronald Baker. He volunteered at Yad Ezra in Berkley for one of his mitzvah projects and felt that was especially mean- ingful. Jarett Michael Lazare, son of Amy and Mark Lazare and brother of Cara, will lead the congregation at Temple Israel in West Bloom- field Saturday, Nov.17, as he celebrates his bar Lazare mitzvah. His proud grandparents are Geri and Saul Lazare and Rochelle Solomon. He is also the grandchild of the late David Solomon. Jarett is a student at Walnut Creek Middle School in Walled Lake. He felt his most meaningful mitzvah project was organizing a canned food drive and donat- ing the cans to Hospitality House. Juliana Caroline Rordorf of Newton, Mass., daughter of Abby (Shifman) and Guy Rordorf and the sister of Oliver, will celebrate her bat mitzvah on Saturday, Nov. 17, at Veronique in Brookline, Mass. Juliana is the granddaughter of Suzanne and Burton Shifman of West Bloomfield and Elaine and Paul Rordorf of Besazio, Switzerland, all of whom will participate in the ceremony. Juliana is a student at the Rivers School in Weston, Mass. In honor of her bat mitzvah, she will make a donation Rordorf to the Israel Children's Tennis Center, which she visited on a recent trip to Israel. Alex Schwartz, son of Lisa and Paul Schwartz of West Bloomfield, will celebrate his bar mitzvah at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield Saturday, Nov. 17. He is the brother of Jake and Dylan. His 11111L Schwartz grandparents are Kay and Stan Miller of Farmington Hills, Faye Schwartz of West Bloomfield and the late Arthur Schwartz. His very proud great-grandmother is Estelle Moggel. His most meaningful mitzvah project was volunteering for the Torah Boy Program at the West Bloomfield-based Friendship Circle, where he worked with children with special needs. Cheyenne Arielle Stone (Shayna Ariel) of West Bloomfield will become bat mitzvah at Temple Shir Shalom in West Bloomfield Friday, Nov. 16. She will be sharing her special day with her Cheyenne sister Sierra. Cheyenne Stone is the daughter of Beth and Sheldon Stone and the granddaughter of Ina Katz and Helene and Julius Stone, all of West Bloomfield. Cheyenne is also the granddaughter of the late Sam Katz, who will be terribly missed. Cheyenne is an eighth-grader at Berkshire Middle School in Birmingham. Among her mitzvah projects, she helped collect Beanie Babies for the TLC (Tender Loving Care) program, a foster care project. Sierra Devon Stone (Shoshana Davida) of West Bloomfield will become bat mitzvah at Temple Shir Shalom in West Bloomfield Friday, Nov. 16. She will be sharing her special day with her sister Cheyenne. Sierra is the daughter of Beth and Sheldon Stone and the granddaughter of Ina Katz and Helene and Julius Stone, all of West Bloomfield. She is also the granddaughter of the late Sam Katz, who will be terribly missed.
